Martha | Using Distress Inks with Stencils

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you a colorful card that I made using distress inks with one of favorites stencils, Urban Jungle ST-614 from Rebecca Baer Inc.

  DISTRESS INK CON STENCILS

To make this card I only used one part of the Urban Jungle ST-614 from Rebecca Baer Inc, this is one of the advantage of using stencils. We can decide what part of this to use and what part we can avoid. I used the same part of the stencil with different colors of Distress Ink. I started by masking and localizing my stencil on the place that I wanted. The first color of distress ink that I used was Blueprint Aketch and I applied with a distress blending tool.

Then I moved my stencil around and I applied the other colors of ink. I used Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron and Picked Raspberry to make this card a very vibrant.

I used the stamp set Breathtaking Butterflies to finalize the card. I stamped the main butterfly and sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

The last part was to resize the layer and paste over the card base.
