Martha | Shimmering Golden Card

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you my golden card. It is golden because I used a lot of shimmer to create this.

  Materials:

• Rebecca Baer Wisps and Waves Stencil (ST-507)
• Gold Embossing Paste
• Fireworks in several colors
• Gold Glimmer Paper
• Very Vanilla Cardstock
• Basic Black Cardstock
• Seam Binding Marina Mist Ribbon
• Smile Die Cut
• Big Shot

Instructions: 1. Start by spraying the different colors of fireworks over the very vanilla card stock. I used six different colors. On the first part of the photo you can see how the paper looks with only three colors.

   

 2. Place and secure your stencil over the decorated paper and start to apply the embossing paste. You can move your stencil around the surface to create different forms. Just be careful to wait until each coat is totally dry.

   

 3. When you are finished, let it dry and clean your stencil with water.  

 4. To decorate your card you can create a border with a piece of glimmer paper like I have added along the left side. Cover the inside border of glimmer paper with a ribbon and to create a big contrast paste this layer over a basic black card base. For the sentiment you can use a die cut using basic black cardstock too.
