Successful candidates will...
- have an existing active blog and social media presence.
- have the ability to write clear tutorials with clean, sharp, well-lit photos showcasing our products.
- be innovative! We don't want to stifle your creativity; other non-competing products can be used but our stencils must be the star! Also, if we carry an item similar to product you want to use, please use ours (we give you a discount!)
- be enthusiastic and able to create on a deadline.
Your responsibilities
- Create at least one step-by-step tutorial and two (or more--the "or more" is up to you) projects for inspiration* a month using the stencils we provide. Repeated usage of the same products in multiple projects is encouraged to create added value for the consumer.
- Post your creations on your blog with links to products on our website that are featured in your project.
- Share via all social media outlets on which you have a presence.
- Join the Stencil Love group on FB. Actively participate and share your projects featuring our stencils.
- Send us your project blog posts in HTML (plain text) so that we can add to our website -- to promote you back!
- Videos are encouraged.
- Commit to six months as a design team member--April through October.
*Projects for inspiration do not need full written step-by-step instruction with corresponding images. These need only one photo of the finished project with a brief summary of the process. This approach is meant to free you up to be creative and productive so that you are able to share more projects without the burden of writing and photographing a stepped-out tutorial. Projects for inspiration should include links to our products in the brief summary. Click on the image below to see an example of this. My example is in the form of a PDF but this format is not necessary for you. A simple photo and summary on your blog with links is all that you need. Share and promote these in the same manner as tutorials.

How to apply
- Previous design team experience is not necessary; especially if you "wow" us.
- Send us an email with your name and a short bio. Use the contact page for this.
- Include links to your blog and social media pages, FB, Pinterest, YT and any other forums or groups where you will share your projects.
- Here's your first deadline. Apply by January 31st, 2016 and be sure to include all info requested. Tip: The goal is to inspire folks to love and use our stencils. It will help if you show how you can use stencils as the star in your projects as opposed to an element buried among layers so that it is no longer discernible.
Design Team selections will be made in February.
